Canadian Hall of Fame

To be considered eligible for the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club Hall of Fame a candidate must be individually registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (a copy of this registration to be enclosed) and owned in part or in full by a member in good standing (for a minimum two years) of the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club.

Any dog may be placed in the CMTC Hall of Fame, regardless of the criteria contained herein, through a majority vote of the CMTC Board of Directors. Such a decision would be made in light of outstanding individual performance and/or contribution to the breed. Candidates for such special consideration are arrived at through recommendations made by the CMTC Hall of Fame Committee.

Please Note: It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all required documentation is included/available to the HOF Committee. No candidate will be considered until all provisions outlined herein have been satisfied.

Upon confirmation from the CMTC Hall of Fame Committee, recipients are entitled to the use of the suffix CHOF.

Points must be accumulated in at least two categories.

BOB - 3pts
BOS - 2pt
Award of Merit - 1pt

Canadian Championship - 3pts
Additional Foreign Championships (including International) - 2pts

bulletIn the case of titles not as yet recognized by the governing Kennel Club, a certificate signed by the tester or certified observer is required.

Points from Progeny:
(Maximum 5 points)

Points will be awarded equally in this category for progeny earning titles domestically and internationally (to a limit of one point per individual) providing that appropriate documentation is supplied. Titles must be earned from a recognized registering body (see application).

Progeny Championship - 1pt
Progeny Performance/Obedience title - 1pt

Required documentation:

bulletProof of Championship for all qualifying progeny (maximum 5); and
bulletCopy of Championship certificates (or suitable alternative) of the governing Kennel Club is accepted.
